God reveals Himself throughout Scripture, as a loving and faithful God who longs to protect us from the traps of the enemy, sin and depravity. The world often sees this as harsh and intolerant. But truth is, He loves us far too much to remain complacently silent while we move ever closer to the cliff of self-destruction.
The Maestro of life reveals Himself through the Spirit, as He orchestrates His great plans for us; all while composing His glorious opus upon our hearts, giving us a new birth with life to the full (John 10:10).
When I let go of my expectations of others, I can love each person as God loves me, with no strings attached. And, when I let go of trying to meet the expectations of others, I experience the “rest” Jesus offers.
